Welcome to my collection of stories, photos and wildlife encounters. I got the travel bug when I sold my first car and bought an around the world air ticket. I travelled for a year on that particular trip, my life was simply packed into my backpack. I decided I wanted to pursue my addiction to travel, so got a job doing it. Since then I have travelled to 70 countries for business and pleasure. I am happiest travelling to see wildlife in their natural environment. I am now a freelance travel writer and photographer. Journey's end for me is in the Highlands of Scotland. Kay Durden
